A Family Company

Rodger and Lori Turner own and operate Smith Farms in Cullman, Alabama. Smith Farms was founded in 1955 by Ed Smith. It began as a small road-side stand selling seasonal produce and a few cured hams and bacon. Through the years, Smith Farms has grown to be recognized throughout the country for producing truly unique, ‘Southern tasting’ products. Rodger and Lori continue to use the same time honored recipes and techniques perfected many years ago. Today, Smith Farms has a fully USDA inspected process and the capabilities to ship products all over the world.

Since 1955, Smith Farms has been the source for traditional Southern foods in north Alabama, having perfected the art of curing pork and using only real hickory wood to smoke ham, bacon, and sausage.

Complete your meal by adding one of Smith Farm’s delicious old-fashioned, stone-ground grain products, (grits, porridge, biscuit/pancake, muffins, gravy, bread flour, and cornmeal) aged Wisconsin and Amish cheeses, pure honey, sorghum syrup, and a full line of jams, jellies, preserves, and fruit butter.

Rodger and Lori welcome you to visit Smith Farms. It is sure to bring back fond memories of eating at Grandma’s.
